Accordingly vishal and director Mysskin's Thupparivaalan 2 has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. A few days ago, it was reported that the actor and the director had a major fallout over the film's budget. Apart from acting, vishal is also producing the film under his home banner vishal Film Factory.

As reported earlier, vishal will be taking over the project as the director as Mysskin has walked out of the film. In an interview with The Times of india, the actor revealed that he is thrilled to make his debut as a filmmaker. On handling acting and production for Thupparivaalan 2, he said, he used to it. In fact, I’m taking on a triple role. Reportedly, Mysskin had demanded Rs 40 crore more than the stipulated budget and had an argument with vishal over the same.

When elaborating about taking over the film as a director, he said, he thinks it’s a blessing in disguise. I didn’t expect this to happen, but I am excited. A director is the captain of the ship. You have responsibilities. It is nice to dwell in departments like editing, composing, re-recording you need to don so many avatars. So, he is looking forward to that aspect. Moreover the actor also revealed an interesting piece of information. He had planned to direct a film on animals next year. Now, Thupparivaalan 2 will mark his directorial debut.
