Naga Chaitanya's Autonagar Surya which was marked for this Friday release may not come out that day. Distributors who were confidentally telling about Friday release till yesterday are giving feelers about a possible postponement now. Finance problems are set to be the problem behind this postponement. Some people say the movie may release on Sunday clearing the hurdles.
There are reports that the current producers are totally backing out of the project and Financiers Alankar Prasad and Usha Pictures (of West Godavari) will be taking over the project. There were some rumours that their names will appear as producers of the movie in the titles. But our sources said name change will not happen but a Thanks card will be given for them.
There were problems as well with the movie Censor too. The makers have tried for U/A certificate on Monday but the Censor board had recommended some cuts for it which were not agreeable for the makers. They again saw the movie on Tuesday. After failing to reach an agreement for the second time too. The makers have settled down with A certificate with no cuts.
Autonagar Surya was lying in cans for several months due to the bad financial condition of RR Movie Makers. They received a funding from some where and completed the movie shooting few months back. Samantha is the female lead beside Naga Chaitanya. 'Prasthanam' fame Deva Katta is wielding megaphone for this project which will be produced by K.Achi Reddy under Max India banner. Anoop Rubens is composing the music.
