After a delay of more than a month, the telangana government issued a G.O. allowing cinema theatres/multiplexes to open with 50% seating capacity and outside containment zones only. All the theaters are to be followed the prescribed SOPs.
It was said the management of cinemas, theatres and multiplexes should ensure that all persons including the audience, staff, vendors etc., use masks at all times; ensure hand sanitizers at entry/exit points and common areas; following physical distancing and crowd management measures; ensure sanitization of entire premises particularly common areas after every screening; and that temperature setting of all air conditioning devices be set in the range of 24-30 degree Celsius.
