It has been more than a decade since uday kiran left us. Whenever his movie telecasts in a channel people still watch it with the same excitement. It is all thanks to his wonderful acting skills. The actor has delivered many super hit movies in his career.
 
Uday kiran despite being from a non-film background has created a good name for himself. The actor rose to fame with his very first film ‘Chitram’. His later movies ‘Nuvvu Nenu’ and ‘Manasantha Nuvve’ won big at the box office making him a top hero in the industry.

Now coming to the point, the actor was said to have been approached by director ravi Babu to play the lead role in his multi-starrer movie. In an interview ravi babu himself said that he approached uday kiran to play the lead role in his film ‘Soggadu’.
 
The movie actually stars tarun in the lead role. The movie has two male leads and for one role ravi was said to have asked Uday. Though uday gave green signal first, he later rejected the offer as the role is comparatively small that of Tarun’s role in the flick. Uday’s role landed in some small bollywood hero’s hand. The movie also failed to do well at the box office.
