The conflict between director shankar and lyca productions is said to be finally resolved and the indian 2 movie is to be resumed shortly.
About a year back, there was a tragic accident at the shooting set of indian 2. It killed 3 crew members. Ever since, the indian 2 movie that was supposed to take off never happened and the movie shelved with partial shooting. With that incident, Shankarand the producers were at logger heads and with lack of funds to direct the movie, the kollywood assumed the movie would never take off. With the legal dispute on the movie, it made the condition even worse.
But, surprisingly it’s revealed that the conflict between the lyca productions and shankar has been resolved. Sources close in kollywood have revealed that it’s kamal haasan who was the mediator between the 2 parties and have successfully resolved the dispute. Furthermore, the movie that stopped midway is all set to be resumed. shankar will resume the shoot of indian 2 after the wrap of his current film C-15 with Ramcharan and kiara Advani.
Anirudh Ravichander is helming the music for indian 2 with Kajal Aggarwal, Siddarth and rakul preet singh playing the pivotal roles in the movie.
