Actor ranveer singh got into a controversy after a photoshoot done for an American magazine. Protests were held on social media against her nude photoshoot. Even an FIR was registered against him, claiming that the Simmba actor has hurt the sentiments of women through his 'obscene pictures. According to media reports, ranveer singh said in a statement given to mumbai police on august 29 that the picture in which his private parts are visible has been allegedly tampered with. The actor has claimed that this picture was not among the seven pictures that he shared on his instagram handle.

An FIR was lodged against Jayeshbhai actor at Chembur police station last month based on a complaint filed by an NGO official.
