Aamir Khan used to get a salary of only 1000 rupees, but got upset after getting into stardom!

Recently, actor aamir khan revealed that he used to get only Rs 1000 per month during the film 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak'.

Aamir Khan is an actor in Bollywood, who is called 'Mr. Perfectionist'. He gets into his every role in such a way that his every character comes alive on the screen. Today he is included in the list of the top and most successful actors in Bollywood. However, he faced a lot of struggles in his initial days. Recently, in one of his interviews, he talked about his first salary and the stardom he got from his first blockbuster film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.

Aamir Khan started his acting career as a lead hero with the 90s blockbuster film 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' and became an overnight star. Soon after, Aamir worked in 9 films with various filmmakers which did not do well at the box office.

 The actor revealed that though Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak had won him seven Filmfare Awards after its release, he was only looking to experience while making the film. Sharing that his monthly salary was only Rs 1000, Aamir said, "I don't care about awards. I shouldn't have said that, but I was skeptical about awards. I didn't have that much respect for them. Winning them was not such a big moment for me, but the experience of making the film was a big moment for me. Mansoor Khan is a very good director and a very good mind. I learned a lot, my growth was very fast. I was on that set Not only was he an actor, but I was also the first AD. I earned Rs 1000 a month and that was enough for me." When Aamir Khan's family was in debt, remembering the days of financial crisis emotionally, In the same interview, Aamir spoke about how a taste of stardom overnight changed his life. As people and youth started flocking to the theatres, they could recognize Aamir just by a glimpse of him. 

Because of this, it became very difficult for Aamir to travel publicly. "When 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' released and people thronged the theatres, I was shocked, I felt my work was very average. I liked Juhi's (Juhi Chawla) and Mansoor's work, but not mine. So my first film was a super hit and I became an overnight star. I didn't know what stardom was, but things changed as I couldn't travel freely anymore."

Talking about the tremendous fan following he got after his debut film, Aamir said that people used to recognize him, and traffic used to stop when he passed by on the road. Aamir said, “People started recognizing me. Then I borrowed an old Fiat, but even in that people would recognize me, and autos and cars would stop, and eventually, there would be traffic. It was like a tidal wave.




Along with this, he also told that when he used to stay in the hotel in Delhi, everyone used to talk to him on the phone, and these things used to become a problem for him many times. Well, such is the popularity of aamir khan that everyone is eager to meet him once.
