The relationship between Cassie and Scott Lang was altered by the events of Avengers: Endgame, as shown in a brand-new Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania trailer. The Multiverse Saga storylines for those still in the Marvel Cinematic Universe were made possible by the battle against Thanos, which was the culmination of the Infinity Saga in Joe and Anthony Russo's 2019 blockbuster. As his own daughter points out, it is precisely what happened to Ant-Man.

In order to promote the movie, Kathryn Newton appeared on The Tonight Show with jimmy Fallon. She released a brand-new Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania teaser in which Cassie discusses how Avengers: Endgame harmed her relationship with Scott. And of course, you can see that video clip below,

In Avengers: Infinity War, after Thanos' tragic snap occurred, Ant-Man lost five years of his life since he was imprisoned in the Quantum Realm. Cassie was an adult when he came out and the Titan was vanquished in Avengers: Endgame. In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Kang the Conqueror really manipulates Scott with this intense desire. What kind of chemistry the two will have in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is hinted at in the trailer. The Ant-Man 3 franchise has always been known to emphasise on its characters' familial relationships, so it's intriguing to see how the Langs' dynamics have altered since they were last on screen, even though the entrance of Kang the Conqueror will be a major plot line.
