Megha Akash, an actor, has joined the cast of Santhanam's Vadakkupatti Ramasamy, which is directed by karthik Yogi, best known for Dikkiloona. She recently started filming in pollachi for her role as a doctor in the movie. Vadakkupatti Ramasamy centres on a true story that took place in a village in the 1960s and 1970s. Tamizh, of jai Bhim fame, plays the film's main antagonist.
