Trisha just celebrated 20 years in the film business, receiving the adoring moniker "South Queen" from her admirers. Her attempts at making films on women haven't quite gone as planned. The Road, a female-focused thriller, debuted in theatres on october 6. 'The Road': Has Trisha's curse been lifted?

The first act of "The Road" establishes the tone for the entire movie.It opens with an argumentative couple whose car breaks down at night on a remote road. Their initially friendly encounter with two tribal members takes a terrible turn when they, along with the rest of their group, are brutally slaughtered. Kavin's birthday trip is being planned by meera (Trisha) and her husband Anand (Santhosh Pratap).


Meera chooses to stay behind owing to her pregnancy, sending her husband and son instead. Tragic events occur as two people die on the journey. meera learns about many conspiracy theories surrounding the event while she deals with her own grief. In addition, Shabeer Kallarakkal plays Mayan, a professor who has been accused of sexual harassment by one of his pupils. The central themes of the narrative are how these two occurrences are related and what meera learns during her inquiry.
