This film became the highest-grossing film on the eighth day of its release among all the films released this year. With this, there are chances of the film 'Animal' continuing its color in the second week also. The earnings of the film on the eighth day of its release are more than double the earnings of 'Tiger 3' on the eighth day of its release.


The film 'Animal' was released on the first friday of this month i.e. 1st December. The film performed brilliantly in the first week, earning a total of Rs 337.58 crore. In hindi alone, this film was successful in earning Rs 300.81 crore in the first week. The worldwide collection of the film has crossed Rs 500 crore. The film has earned handsomely on the eighth day of its release. According to the data till 10 pm, 'Animal' has earned around Rs 23 crore on the second friday of its release, including all language versions.


Shahrukh Khan, deepika Padukone, and john Abraham's film 'Pathan', which became the first blockbuster among the films released this year, earned Rs 18.25 crore on the eighth day of its release. Breaking this record, Sunny Deol's film 'Gadar 2' had earned Rs 20.50 crore on the eighth day of its release. Shahrukh Khan's film 'Jawaan earned Rs 21.60 crore on the eighth day of its release. The film 'Animal' has also improved this record of earnings on the eighth day and has earned Rs 23 crore as per the initial trends on Friday. Among the remaining two big films of this year, the collection of salman Khan's film 'Tiger 3' was only Rs 10.50 crore on the eighth day of its release.


In the second weekend of the release of the film 'Animal', it is expected to earn even better on saturday and sunday and it is estimated that this film can earn around Rs 150 crore in the second week. If this happens then this film can surpass the second week's earnings of 'Jawaan'. Currently, the record of the highest earning of a hindi film at the domestic box office is held by the film 'Jawaan', which earned around Rs 640.25 crore while remaining in theaters for eight weeks.
