Priyanka Chopra has played many different characters in her career. But the role of Jhilmil in the film 'Barfi' is the most special for her. Priyanka Chopra shared a post on saturday about this character.

In the Anurag Basu-directed film 'Barfi' released in 2012, priyanka Chopra has played the most different and memorable character of her acting career. In the film, she was seen in the role of Jhilmil, an autistic girl. Today, after many years, priyanka chopra has shared memories related to Jhilmil from the film 'Barfi' with fans through social media.

In her post, priyanka writes, 'In january 2009, when I was shooting for the film 'Anjaana Anjaani' with ranbir kapoor in New York, he told me about his next film 'Barfi'. anurag basu was making this film. I liked him a lot as a director. Later, Anurag Sir offered me the role of 'Jhilmil'. I was very happy. I met Anurag Sir at my Mumbai home. I had just returned home from an event. Anurag Sir saw me and said that he was unable to see me as Jhilmil. I understood, so we did a five-day workshop. We did research on children with autism spectrum, and watched videos. One day, Anurag Sir asked me to abuse him in Hindi. I tried, feeling embarrassed. This way I came out of my comfort zone and my character Jhilmil was born.'

Priyanka Chopra further writes in the post, 'Most of Jhilmil's scenes in the film 'Barfi' were improvised. Anurag Sir shared an idea, and we started working on it. It was on the set of this film that my father came to meet me for the last time. That is why 'Barfi' is one of my most precious films. It has amazing cinematography by ravi Varman. beautiful Ileana D'Cruz made the character of shruti memorable. ranbir kapoor shone like a star in the film. Finally, talking about Anurag sir, he has the magical art of storytelling. We shot this film for more than two years. The audience also gave us more love than expected. Since then, the love for Jhilmil has remained with me. I felt like sharing these old memories with you today, on Saturday.'

Talking about priyanka Chopra's current projects, she recently appeared in the hollywood film 'Head of State'. She will soon be seen opposite mahesh babu in Rajamouli's film 'SSMB26'.
