Since their marriage, Rajkummar and Patralekhaa have performed diwali puja every year without fail.
Rajkummar is deeply spiritual, maintains a temple at home, and cleans and performs puja himself.
“Sometimes a priest comes, but many times raj does the rituals himself,” she shares proudly.
💖 Childhood diwali Memories in Shillong
Patralekhaa recalls joyful diwali celebrations in her hometown, Shillong.
Her family had a close group of eight couples and their children who celebrated diwali together.
“We partied every evening for days before Diwali. That tradition continues even today,” she says emotionally.
She missed visiting Shillong this year and felt nostalgic.

Patralekhaa says diwali is not just a festival but a feeling of starting fresh.
“It’s about cleansing — not just your home, but your mind too,” she explains.
