Bubbly actress Charmi Kaur, who has been in the industry from more than 12 years, still manages to get meaty roles. Recently temper director Puri Jagannadh made it official that his next film is with Charmi Kaur and the film was titled as Jyoti Lakshmi.

The energetic team is not taking anytime for pre-production and are ready to go on floors from March 1st. Puri reportedly left to Bangkok to finish the script work of the film. It is learnt that lyricist Bhaskara Bhatla music director Sunil Kashyap is joined by Puri in Bangkok.
Charmi will be seen adorning the title role and it is going to be a heroine centric flick. The film subject is reportedly based on Malladi Venkata Krishna Murthy’s novel 'Jyothi Lakshmi'. Well-known producer C. Kalyan is producing the film.
