BJP is facing lots of trouble in Hyderabad ahead of GHMC polls. The alliance with TDP was also not good so far. As the nominations ended, to withdraw there has been huge chaos. We earlier provided a complete report on that. At the same time, BJP former MLA Prem Singh Rathore resigned from the party.
There were lots of speculations regarding his resignation. He resigned in order to protest against the party allotting tickets. He said the party has completely ignored genuine BJP leaders and activists.
Prem Singh Rathore said, "BJP leaders sold GHMC party tickets. The defected people from Congress and other parties who joined BJP recently were given GHMC tickets. What is the use of being in the party for a long period ?"
Sources said, Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya tried to convince Rathore to withdraw his resignation but he was so adamant and he refused to join the party once again. Prem Singh Rathore also conveyed Dattatreya that some BJP leaders are spoiling the reputation of the party for their own interests.
