There is no exaggeration when we say that Andhra Pradesh got into a lot of limelight during the regime of Chandrababu Naidu. The city of Hyderabad became an IT hub only in his time. And he has been one of those dynamic Chief Ministers who had a vision and a progressive thought.
Bad luck haunted him during the 2004 and 2009 elections in various forms like lack of rains, emergence of Chiranjeevi, wrong tie-up with TRS etc. But if there is one thing that can guarantee Chandrababu the victory then that is Sympathy. Unless the sympathy factor works for Babu, he cannot win the 2014 elections.
So far, Chandrababu is doing his best to stir the emotions of the people and to a large extent his ‘Vastunna Mee Kosam’ padayatra proved fruitful but will the same emotion continue till 2014 is a doubt. Also, there is the looming threat of the YSR Congress party. This will be a testing election for TDP this time.
