1.  Video, Cops' Eid gesture goes viral, wins hearts :   A gesture on Eid-ul-Fitr by two constables is winning hearts. The two are seen helping worshippers on the streets by putting their caps onto the sheets of cardboard used as prayer mats as they were getting blown away by the wind. The video was watched over 50,000 times and got more than 3,200 reactions on the official city police Facebook page.
2.  UPSC third ranker in disability fraud row :  A public interest litigation (PIL) petition has been filed against UPSC third ranker Gopalakrishna Ronanki in the Hyderabad high court by advocate M Muralikrishna, alleging that he had fraudulently secured the position in the Civil ServicesExam-2016 by producing a fake physical disability certificate.
3.  Hyderabadis safe in Qatar, says embassy :  "The diplomatic standoff continues but we haven't seen anything that suggests a threat to the safety and security of residents. Indians here do not feel the need to leave. Please don't exaggerate and create a sense of panic," the embassy said.
4.  Man seeks Sushma's help to leave Qatar, gets trolled :    There may be no reasons for Indians in Qatar, the Gulf nation that is blockaded by its neighbours, to be worried about the need to head back home in a hurry. However, a Telugu man raised this issue as a concern on Twitter with Union external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj and got trolled in return.
5.  NHRC probe sought into youth's lynching :  A group of former bureaucrats and a retired army officer have written to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) urging it to probe the killing of Junaid, the youth who was on a train to return home in Ballabgarh, Haryana, with his family members from the national capital when he was lynched by a mob of around 20 people. 
6.  3 women wriggle out of kafils' clutch, back home :  Three women who suffered torture at the hands of their kafils and escaped from their clutches in Saudi Arabia returned to India on Tuesday. 
7.   Colleges run by education society get high court breather :   In a relief to Sultan-ul-uloom Education Society, a two-judge bench of the Hyderabad high court comprising Justice V Ramasubramanian and Justice Balayogi on Tuesday dismissed writ appeals that sought stalling of the colleges run by the society .
8.  Textile traders begin strike against GST :  Textiletraders in the city began a 72-hour strike, protesting against the new Goods and Services Tax (GST) proposed by the Centre.
9.  KCR White House blacked out for public :  Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Raois turning his Begumpet camp office into a garrison, denying the aam admi even a distant glimpse of their leader's home. 
10.  Venkaiah Naidu turns up for Bonalu in Delhi :  Union information and broadcasting minister M Venkaiah Naidu participated in the Bonalu celebrations organised formally by the state government at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi and offered `pattu vastralu' to Goddess Mahankali on the occasion.


Andhra Pradesh
1.  Make best use of NREGA funds , says Naidu :  Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu asked officials to make the best of Rs. 800 crore available as material component in the NREGA.
2.  Kovind for Vijayawada on July 4 :  NDA presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind will be visiting Vijayawada on July 4 to canvass for his election with the MPs and MLAs of Andhra Pradesh.
3.  ‘Withdraw notification for new liquor shops’ :  Criticising the Excise Department for releasing notification for the sanction of 47 new liquor shops, East Godavari district unit of the All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) on Tuesday, said the agitation against the shops would be intensified if the notification was not withdrawn immediately.
4.  CPI(M) State secretary, others taken into custody in Prakasam :  CPI(M) State secretary P. Madhu and 11 others were taken into preventive custody when they agitated in support of displaced Dalits in Devarapalli village, near Parchur, on Tuesday.
5.  Groupism plagues YSR Congress ahead of plenary :  YSR Congress Party has been facing groupism in many constituencies of Srikakulam district in spite of the efforts of the party high command to forge unity among the top leaders. 
6.  Chief Minister launches MSME corporation :  In a bid to encourage the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday launched the logo of the Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation. 
7.  YSRC behind campaign against WB loan :  The controversy triggered by unsigned mails sent to the World Bank opposing loan to Andhra Pradesh for construction of the Capital city Amaravati has deepened with the State government alleging involvement of the YSR Congress in the campaign.
8.  RINL to probe ‘bloomers’ in MT question papers :  The Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, corporate entity of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, will order a probe into bloomers in the question papers for the all-India written test conducted for recruitment of Management Trainees on June 25.
9.  Kamineni to visit Agency areas today :  Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas will tour Rampachodavaram and Chinturu and Principal Secretary (Health) Poonam Malakondaiah will visit Paderu and Aruku to take stock of the situation in the tribal areas on Wednesday. 
10.  ‘CM will launch Vana mahotsavam in July’ :  Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch vana mahotsavam in Guntur in the first week of July, according to Forests and Environment Minister Siddha Raghava Rao.
