As the Lok Sabha elections are nearing, it is essential that we must take a stand to exercise our right to vote and much before that we must check and ensure that our names are present in voters list and here are the steps to make sure of it.

a) Browse National voter service portal's search page www.nsvp.in

b) One can search by manually entering all details or can enter the Electoral photo ID card number which is mentioned on the voter ID card.

If EPIC number is available, follow these steps:

1. Open NVSP Electoral Search page.

2. Click Search by EPIC No.

3. Enter EPIC number, select state from the menu, and enter the code on the image and click Search.

4. If the search results display your name then you're on the voters list.

 

If there's no EPIC number:

In absence of voter identity card which is no EPIC number available, follow these steps:

1. Open NVSP Electoral Search page.

2. Click Search by Details.

3. Enter all details like name, gender, age, Assembly constituency followed by the code on the captcha image, and click Search.

4. If the search results display your name then you're on the voters list.

 

Another option is calling toll free number 0861 - 1950 to verify voter details.

Another option is to visit Andhra Pradesh election site by using the below steps:

1. Go to www.ceoandhra.nic.in

2. Locate search your name.

3. Enter name and details will be displayed if already registered.

 

Enquiring District Collectorate:

One can also ask the officials of District Collectorate office to know if they're are registered, by giving EPIC number or name and they'll check and let know if we're already registered and if not registered one can fill in Form 6 and enroll.

 

Mee Seva Centers facility:

One can pay processing fee at Mee Seva Centers to get details, and in case of non registration, an online application can be filled at Mee Seva Center. One can even register a week before Election Nomination is filed by inquiring local election officers and registering.The Local RDO officer, Booth level officers, MRO Level officers can help in voter registration.
