AIADMK MLAs involved in protests blocking the road as DMK passed a GO linking Villupuram jayalalithaa university with annamalai University. The bill to link jayalalithaa university with annamalai university was tabled in the assembly today and minister of Higher education Ponmudi introduced the bill in the Legislative Assembly.


As soon as this was passed, it was strongly condemned by the AIADMK MLAs and Opposition party leader O.Paneer Selvam. The AIADMK left the area and sat on the road to protest and due to these protests, they caused huge traffic in the area and the commoners were affected. AIADMK legislators led by Opposition Deputy leader O. Panneer Selvam sat on the road and chanted slogans and sooner, all of them were then loaded into a police vehicle and taken away. 



None of the ADMK MLAs met the press and explained why they have opposed the bill and all of them started the protests by blocking the roads and soon they were cleared by arresting them on police vehicles. The cops entered the area and cleared all the ADMK MLAs who were seated on the roads and causing congestion to the traffic and also creating chaos and spreading a huge crowd.
