If mayawati seems to be at a loss in the UP assembly elections, then it is not right - keeping Dalit politics relevant between the competition of yogi adityanath and akhilesh yadav is a minor achievement.

Politics is also business. Winning defeat also means profit and loss. Even if there is no loss, the deal can be considered beneficial - the same is going to happen with mayawati in the UP assembly elections.

Mayawati was seen in complete silence until the formal announcement of the elections. In the name of BSP activism, only Brahmin convention was visible - and this was the reason that sometimes congress General Secretary priyanka gandhi Vadra and sometimes Union home minister amit shah kept questioning the politics of the BSP leader.

Mayawati maintained restraint. Sometimes patience is also a compulsion. The same can happen with mayawati as well. Yet mayawati did not ignore the political opponents, but also responded in her own way.

There was sarcasm in Mayawati's counterattack as well. mayawati explained that the BSP has its own way of campaigning - because the section of politics they play has limited funds. By saying this, mayawati was trying to explain that like bjp and Samajwadi party or congress, BSP does not have money to fly in elections.

The point is also true, after being out of power for a long time, such a philosophical theory automatically applies. Otherwise, WikiLeaks wires tell a different story.

If mayawati has found a recipe for an economical election with a particular strategy, then it also goes in favor of the BSP. Even if the election expenditure is less, the benefit should be considered. Whatever the situation may be, the position of BSP of mayawati, the feedback that has been received so far, will be said to be better than that of Congress. It is also important for mayawati that on which side of power she stands. Things can be less challenging for congress even under special circumstances, but mayawati has taken such a path that she has laddoos in both her hands, very rarely.

It is possible that even after march 10, mayawati may be found in a better position in UP than the congress - and even if this happens, then both mayawati and the BSP cannot be considered outside the survival of fittest category even in adverse circumstances.
