Sena on three lok sabha seats of Mumbai?
After a long tussle between bjp and shiv sena over the distribution of the remaining six parliamentary seats of mumbai in the lok sabha elections, shiv sena has announced its candidates for mumbai North West and mumbai South. cm Eknath Shinde has given ticket to Jogeshwari mla ravindra Vaykar from mumbai North West while Byculla mla Yamini Jadhav has been given ticket from mumbai South.
After this decision, mumbai will now see a fight between shiv sena and shiv sena in three constituencies - mumbai South, mumbai South Central, and mumbai North West. mumbai South has 15,12,331 voters, of which about 45 percent are Marathi voters, 8 percent Gujarati-Marwari, 13 percent North indian and about 19 percent Muslim. Jogeshwari mla and Shinde Sena candidate for mumbai North West, ravindra Vaikar was earlier considered a close aide of shiv sena (UBT) chief uddhav Thackeray. Gajanan Kirtikar, the sitting mp from mumbai North West, who defected to Shinde Sena last year, refused to contest the election, clearing the way for his son Amol Kirtikar.
