increase in price

Rising petrol and diesel prices in the country have been a major pain for the middle class. As the price of crude oil rises in the international market, so do the prices of petrol and diesel.

The federal government is actively pushing for alternatives to petrol and diesel, and is encouraging battery-powered vehicles. At the same time, the federal government is promoting and encouraging the production of ethanol, methanol, and hydrogen-powered vehicles to replace petrol and diesel.

In 6 months

In a recent interview with an english daily, Central Highways Transport minister nitin gadkari said, “I have consulted with the executives of automobile companies. At that time, representatives of all indian automobile manufacturers were present. I asked them to produce vehicles that run not only on petrol and diesel but also on alternative fuels.

To that end, they have pledged to manufacture Plexi-fuel engines, ie petrol, diesel, ethanol, methanol, CNC and hydrogen - powered vehicles within the next six months. They are initially trying to make two-wheelers and three-wheelers.

Bio-ethanol is also produced by farmers from rice, maize and sugarcane. Soon all vehicles in the country will run on 100 percent ethanol. Last year I asked automakers to release Flexi Fuel engines. The government will also give priority to vehicles running on green hydrogen. The government is encouraging that as well.

Nitin Gadkari arrived in parliament today in a hydrogen-powered car, just as he had said. He came up with a hydrogen-based fusecell electric vehicle and took advantage of it.
