50 Historical sites damaged in war...


Humanity has been embarrassed by the ongoing war between russia and ukraine, and many cultural and historical places have also become deteriorated. 

Today is the 39th day of the war between russia and Ukraine. Meanwhile, there is no sign of the end of the war, but recently the President of ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has claimed that Ukrainian troops are in the surrounding areas of Kyiv and Chernihiv and capturing again. But a report that has come out in the meantime is quite disturbing.


1. Damage to 53 historical sites

According to this UNESCO report, 53 historical sites of ukraine have suffered significant damage between russia and Ukraine. On this, the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has called for the implementation of additional protective measures to protect these priceless sites.


2. UNESCO has presented the report

The UNESCO report lists 29 religious sites, 16 historical buildings, four museums, and four monuments that have been completely or partially damaged during the war.


3. heritage in Danger

Ernesto Otton, Assistant Director-General of Cultural Affairs at UNESCO, said in a press conference that we are very concerned about both human and cultural heritage. It seems as if the heritage of humanity is also in danger.


4. Rescue Operation in Mariupol

A significant number of Russian troops are currently stationed around Mariupol, where the defenders continue to fight. About one lakh people are trapped here. What is the damage done to the buildings here, it is not even estimated yet.

5. Zelensky addresses the nation
