After meeting with telangana DGP Anjani Kumar on Monday, a delegation of leaders from the vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal requested that he take action to halt the illegal movement of cattle into the state during Bakrid. The leaders said that while AIMIM party officials are allegedly roaming around freely and assisting those carrying livestock illegally, the police are allegedly arresting VHP and Bajrang Dal leaders in the state under the guise of maintaining law and order.

Bajrang Dal telangana convenor Shivaramulu issued a warning that if the attitude of the government and police did not change, a bandh will be held in Telangana. If unlawful lawsuits are brought against cow protection, we will demonstrate across the state. If you make arrests, we won't be able to relax. The transportation of illicit cows will undoubtedly come to an end, he assured.

C v Anand, the city's police commissioner, issued a warning against cow vigilantism and lawbreakers. The alert is issued ahead of the Bakri Eid celebration, which takes place on june 27. "Anyone with information regarding illegal cattle transport should report to the authorities," the senior police official said.
