Chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, according to Finance minister T harish rao, is a true Hindu, as evidenced by his efforts to build temples around the State. Speaking to the crowd after laying the Sita Ramachandra Swamy temple renovation's foundation in Potlapally, close to Husnabad, on Wednesday, harish rao said the work started by the chief minister was a perfect example of this, noting that the State government had renovated yadadri temple for a cost of Rs. 1,200 crore.

In addition to starting the Kondagattu temple repair project with a budget of Rs. 600 crore, the State government has also raised the pay of archakas. He said that a budget of Rs. 40 lakh will be allocated for the Potlapally temple's rehabilitation, and that Rs. 50 lakh would be provided for the gopuram of the nearby Lord shiva Temple.

Rao said that only a leader who possessed the people's trust and not one who believed in 'jamili' elections would succeed in his speech at the party poll preparatory activists' meeting in the Husnabad constituency.
