On Saturday, a pre-wedding picture shoot of a police couple that was conducted on the grounds of the Punjagutta police station went viral on several social media sites. The police couple's video garnered a lot of attention, and while some social media users complimented them for it, others criticized them for abusing their position of power.

The lady Sub-inspector K bhavana and her husband Ravuri Kishore, a SI in the Armed Reserve, wed on august 26. Sub-inspector K bhavana is currently employed at Punjagutta police station, which is hailed as the first model police station in the State. The couple can be seen visiting the police station grounds while dressed in uniforms and driving police cars in a two-minute-long scene from their pre-wedding video song. Several citizens criticised this, saying it was an abuse of authority and the uniform.
