Even Lord Ganesha is having problems controlling the monkey issue in Jagtial's Korutla. people in this area, who have been using a variety of strategies to save their standing crops, are now compelled to take action to safeguard the god as well. Monkey herds have attacked Ganesh pandals and fled with the fruits, rice, and grains that had been placed there as part of the rites, proving that the placement of Ganesh idols as part of the navaratri celebrations has been beneficial for the local monkey population.

Devotees from korutla mandal's Chinnametpalli have developed a creative solution to the problem. They have set up netting over the Ganesh pandals to keep the monkeys out because it is impractical to hire someone full-time to guard the pandals from monkeys. This is based on how local farmers had covered crops with nets to keep monkeys out of their agricultural grounds. Nearly all of the pandals housing the village's 15 Ganesh idols have been covered with nets.

Nuthupalli Gangaraju, the local sarpanch, told india Herald that the monkeys were assaulting the pandals and escaping with fruits, grains, and rice. A 'Kalasham' that would be set alongside Ganesh sculptures until the idols were immersed was not something that should be disturbed. He said that the monkeys were bothering everyone, even the Kalashams. The same formula is being practised not just by followers in Chinnametpalli, but also in the other villages.

Installing mesh or iron grills to kirana stores and grocery stores to preserve food has been a widespread practise in these villages. Both cities and adjacent villages have been invaded by monkeys. people have been assaulted by monkeys on several occasions in a variety of locations.
