On Friday, 29 September, telangana Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari gave the go-ahead for the preparations for prime minister Narendra Modi's visit to nizamabad on 3 october in close consultation with line departments. A high-level meeting was presided over by the chief secretary, who reviewed the preparations being made for the prominent visitor. The 800 MW ramagundam NTPC Project will be virtually inaugurated on this occasion by the prime minister.

The chief secretary gave the police department instructions to set up suitable security measures in accordance with the blue book. Similar instructions were given to the departments of fire, health, electrical, R&B, and other departments to create elaborate arrangements. It was instructed that the collector and SP of nizamabad work closely together to prepare for the public meeting that would take place at Giriraj college in Nizamabad.

DGP Anjani Kumar, Energy Special Chief Secretary sunil Sharma, Additional DG swati Lakra, GAD Secretary Sheshadri, Roads and Buildings Secretary Srinivasa Raju, Medical & health Secretary Rizvi, DG fire Services Nagi Reddy, I&PR Special Commissioner ashok Reddy, police, NTPC, BSNL, fire and Aviation Department officials attended the meeting. watch out this space for more updates.
