The Chairman of the telangana State Most backward classes Development Corporation Limited was chosen by chief minister K. chandrasekhar Rao a day after a leader of the congress party switched allegiances to the state's governing Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). On Wednesday, Nandikanti sridhar joined the BRS. After the congress accepted malkajgiri mla Mynampally Hanumanth Rao into the party, the president of the district's congress committee (DCC), Medchal-Malkajgiri, resigned from the organisation.

After receiving assurances from congress that he and his son will receive tickets for the next assembly elections, Hanumanth Rao left the BRS and joined the congress last week. The mla was upset with BRS because he refused to offer his son a ticket from the medak seat. chief minister kcr also nominated two corporations' chairs on Thursday, granting access to sitting MLAs who had been refused tickets.

Thatikonda Rajaiah, a former deputy chief minister and now serving mla from Station Ghanpur, has been named chairman of the telangana Rythu Bandhu Samithi in the department of agriculture and cooperation. After the party chose to run Kadiam Srihari, a former deputy chief minister, from Station Ghanpur, he became dissatisfied. Muthireddy Yadagiri reddy, a Jangaon mla, was also nominated by kcr to lead the telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC). Yadagiri reddy objected to the party's decision to run P. Rajeshwar reddy instead of him.

Candidates for 1 had been announced by the BRS on august 21.The panchayat Raj & Rural Development Department's Vice-Chairman of Mission Bhagiratha Corporation, Uppala venkatesh, was also appointed by the Chief Minister. venkatesh had just started working at BRS. 15 of the state's 119 assembly seats. The four open seats, including Jangaon, have not yet had candidates named.
