The chief minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao, who had a viral fever, is now feeling better and should be able to go back to work in a few days healthy. The chief minister recovered from a viral fever, but was later found to have a secondary bacterial infection in the lungs, according to his son and minister KT Rama Rao, who spoke to a major television station on Friday. His rehabilitation has thus been taking longer than anticipated.

In a day or two, "he will come out (in public)," the minister promised.
