With the change in weather, the outbreak of mosquito borne diseases has also increased along with seasonal

diseases. The number of patients of dengue, malaria and chikungunya, deadly diseases spread by mosquitoes, is

increasing rapidly. The health department has issued an alert regarding prevention from this. Earlier, the

department has also issued guidelines for this. Under which a campaign is being run in every area. Additional

Chief Secretary of the Medical and health Department, Shubhra Singh, reviewed the situation of seasonal

diseases through video conference at Swasthya Bhawan. He took detailed information about the situation of

seasonal diseases in each district from the division-wise joint directors and gave necessary instructions.

It was told in this meeting that the situation of rajasthan in prevention and control of seasonal diseases is better

than other states. The prevalence of dengue, malaria and other seasonal diseases has been less in the state

compared to previous years. Expressing satisfaction over the management of seasonal diseases, Additional Chief

Secretary Shubhra Singh said, "Officials of all concerned departments should work like this with full

coordination and vigilance so that the situation remains under control in future also."


At present there are more than 12 thousand patients of dengue and malaria in Rajasthan. Who are undergoing

treatment. Let us tell you that 10 thousand 676 dengue patients are admitted in hospitals across the state.

Whereas 1 thousand 977 patients of malaria and 156 of chikungunya are undergoing treatment. The number of

patients suffering from mosquito borne diseases is increasing rapidly. The health Department has released

district-wise figures of dengue, malaria and chikungunya patients.
