A letter has gone viral on social media on wednesday (1 November) in Madhya Pradesh. In which it was

said that due to Chhath festival, the elections to be held on november 17 have been postponed. As soon as

this letter went viral, a round of discussion started among the political parties as well as the common people.

The viral truth of this entire letter came to light during investigation.

It is noteworthy that the election commission has already released the complete program regarding the

assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh. In madhya pradesh, the last date for withdrawal of nominations is

till november 2. After this, elections are to be held on 17th November. Counting of votes will take place on

December 3. Amidst this entire programme, a letter is going viral on social media, in which it is being said

that the election date has been extended. When this matter was discussed with Dewas collector and Election

Officer Rishav Gupta, he told that this letter is completely fake.

District election officials made this appeal

Similarly, ujjain collector Kumar Purushottam has also termed the viral letter as fake and wrong. Voting is

to be held in madhya pradesh only on 17th November. Regarding this viral letter, the district Election

Officers have also appealed that people should not make this fake letter related to voting viral on social

media, so that more confusion does not arise. In the investigation of ABP News, this letter has been found to

be fake, the claims made in it related to the elections are also fake and wrong.

More than 5 crore 60 lakh voters will vote

5 crore 60 lakh 60 thousand 925 voters will exercise their franchise in the madhya pradesh Assembly

elections. The election commission is continuously spreading publicity regarding maximum voting. This

time, elderly voters (above 80 years) have been given special facilities by the Commission regarding voting.

In this the number of male voters is two crore 81 lakh 26 thousand 191. The number of women voters is 2

crore 62 lakh 49 thousand 578, while there are 1326 third gender voters.
