All preparations have been completed for the assembly elections in rajasthan on saturday (25

November) and currently voting is taking place in full swing. 2612 polling stations have been set up for voting on 10 assembly seats in jodhpur district. The

District election commission has categorized 2566 of these as primary polling stations and 46 as auxiliary

polling stations. Of these, the maximum number of polling stations is in Luni assembly constituency while the

least number of polling stations are in jodhpur assembly constituency.

In the voting to be held on saturday, 27 lakh 35 thousand 688 voters will exercise their franchise on 10 seats of

Jodhpur. Luni assembly constituency has the highest number of voters in the district, whose number is 3 lakh 34

thousand 621. Similarly, jodhpur city is the assembly constituency with the least number of voters in the

district. A total of 1 lakh 99 thousand 577 voters are registered in jodhpur City Assembly. In jodhpur, the

number of male voters is 14 lakh 29 thousand 643, while the number of female voters is 13 lakh 5 thousand 991

and 54 voters are registered as third gender.

District election Officer (District Collector) Himanshu Gupta said that all the preparations necessary for the

elections on all the seats in the district have been completed. He told that this time a total of 2 lakh 57 thousand

191 voters will exercise their franchise in Sardarpura assembly constituency. In which 1 lakh 31 thousand 131

male voters, 1 lakh 26 thousand 39 female voters and 21 voters of third gender will exercise their rights.

Sardarpura seat is considered to be the hottest seat in the state. This is the traditional seat of Chief Minister

Ashok Gehlot, this time he is trying his luck from here.
