Information about major irregularities has come to light during the elections in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. After voting

in Jodhpur, the control unit of the reserve (EVM electronic voting machine) has gone missing. A complaint of

theft of the control unit has been lodged at uday Mandir police station. It is being told that this control unit is

missing since 26th November, the very next day of voting on 25th November.

Voting for the assembly elections has taken place in rajasthan on 25th November. Adequate security

arrangements have been made by the election commission of india regarding the elections. Keeping security in

mind, EVMs were deposited in the strong room immediately after voting. However, despite so much security, a


serious case of theft of EVM controller has come to light in Rajasthan. After the controller was stolen, the Sector

Officer has registered a case at Udaymandir police Station. The police has started investigating this sensitive

matter. However, till now the police has not been able to get any information about the controller.

Jodhpur police Commissionerate East's Udaymandir police station Officer prem Dan Ratnu had a special

conversation with ABP Live regarding the theft of EVM controller after the elections and told that Sector Officer

Pankaj has lodged a complaint regarding the theft of EVM controller. This complaint was lodged on 26

November. Its investigation is still going on. He said that the police is scanning all the CCTV footage for

investigation and the EVM controller will be recovered soon.
