Reportedly the Indi alliance is fully prepared to prevent bjp from making a clean sweep of all seven seats in delhi for the third time in the lok sabha elections 2024. Under which aam aadmi party and congress together are trying to stop BJP's victory chariot in Delhi. For this, four candidates from AAP and three from congress are going to contest elections under this alliance. In which Mahabal Mishra, the candidate of Indi alliance and AAP, will contest the lok sabha seat of West delhi to challenge the bjp candidate. This is Mishra's first election after joining AAP.

Perhaps Mahabal Mishra, once a congress stalwart, is considered a strong leader of Purvanchalis. Before this, he had been an mp from the congress Party. However, first he lost his mp in the bjp wave, after which he contested the mla election from congress, but in 2014, the huge majority given to AAP did not allow him to even reach the delhi assembly and he remained marginalized for some time.

Moreover after Mahabal Mishra's son Vinay Mishra joined AAP and then became its mla, congress expelled him from the party by accusing him of indulging in anti-party activities, after which Mahabal Mishra also joined AAP and Now he is going to contest elections from West delhi as a candidate of Indi alliance. Mahabal Mishra, resident of Madhubani, Bihar, has had a long political journey and he started his political career in 1997 as a councilor of Dabri ward. After this, in 1998, he was elected mla from Nasirpur assembly constituency. After this, he continued his winning streak from his seat in 2003 and 2008 also. By 2009, Mahabal Mishra had strengthened his identity as a Purvanchali leader.
