Voting for both the lok sabha seats of the capital jaipur will be held in the first phase on april 19 and the counting of votes will take place on june 4. However, before that, thousands of voters will vote for jaipur seats on april 5. Work for this has started. In jaipur lok sabha constituency and jaipur Rural lok sabha constituency, 7 thousand 603 voters above 85 years of age and more than 40 percent disabled will vote from home.

Deputy district Election Officer neelima Takshak said that in the first phase in both constituencies, from 5 to 13 april 2024, 195 polling personnel will conduct door-to-door voting from 7 am to 6 pm. Under the second phase of home voting, a voting facility will be provided for absentee voters on 15 april and 16 april 2024.

Number of home voting voters

In this regard, the officer in charge of the postal Ballot Cell, ayub khan said that in the jaipur lok sabha constituency, a total of 3 thousand 632 eligible voters, including 3 thousand 134 voters above 85 years of age and 498 voters with more than 40 percent disability, availed the facility of home voting. He said that 300 voters from the Hawamahal assembly constituency including in the jaipur lok sabha constituency, 384 voters from the Vidyadhar nagar assembly constituency, 609 voters from the Civil Line assembly constituency, and 400 voters from the Kishanpole assembly constituency will do home voting. Similarly, 380 voters from the adarsh Nagar assembly constituency, 685 voters from the Malviya nagar assembly constituency, 480 voters from the Sanganer assembly constituency, and 394 voters from the Bagru assembly constituency will exercise their franchise from home.
