Hemant Soren will contest the elections against Sita Soren?
Jharkhand chief minister Champai Soren has claimed that injustice has been done to former chief minister hemant Soren. It was said from his side that the final decision regarding making Kalpana Soren a candidate from the Gandey assembly will be taken in a week. Kalpana Soren is the wife of the party's working president hemant Soren. During a PTI interview, cm Champai Soren was asked whether Kalpana Soren would be made the chief minister after winning the elections from the Gandey Assembly. On this, it was said from his side that jharkhand Mukti Morcha will decide on this.
Let us tell you that the by-election for Gandey assembly will be held on May 20 along with the lok sabha elections in the state. This seat in Giridih district had become vacant after the resignation of JMM mla Sarfaraz ahmed and there is speculation that Kalpana may contest from there. The chief minister said, “JMM will decide within a week whether Kalpana Soren will be fielded from the Gandeya assembly seat or not. If she contests the elections and wins, then the decision regarding whether she will be made the chief minister will be taken by party president Shibu Soren and party leaders including hemant Soren.
Claim of victory on 14 lok sabha seats
Kalpana Soren's political journey began at JMM's 51st foundation day celebration held in Giridih district on march 4, when in her speech she claimed that there was a conspiracy by opponents since the hemant Soren-led coalition government came to power in 2019. Champai Soren claimed that grave injustice was done to hemant Soren who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a money laundering case related to an alleged land scam. He said that BJP-led forces may succeed in putting him in jail but the tribals of jharkhand will show the way out to the bharatiya janata party in the upcoming lok sabha elections. We are confident that we will win all 14 lok sabha seats in the state.
