Rajendra Rana's reply to Parshottam - 'History of Rajputs...'
BJP leader Rajendra Singh Rana has condemned the statement given by Union minister and rajkot Lok Sabha seat candidate Parshottam Rupala regarding the kshatriya community. Speaking at a meeting of the Rajput and kshatriya communities in bhavnagar, Rajendra Singh Rana said that Parshottam Rupala had commented on the fact that the then rulers of the princely states made many sacrifices to save the culture and traditions of the country.
BJP leader Rajendra Singh Rana further said that I have known Parshottam Rupala for the last 25 years because we both are from the same party. Rupala praised one community (Dalits) while denigrating another community (Rajputs) in the background of historical events. He said, “Such comments have hurt the sentiments of our community and made people angry. Rana said, “Rajputs have been protecting the culture and traditions of the country since ancient times and we will continue to do so in the future also. But I am saddened and surprised by Rupala's comment. I was wondering how he could say such things.
‘History of Rajputs is full of sacrifices’
Rajendra Singh Rana said that the history of Rajputs is full of sacrifices. During our rule, instead of taking anything from the society, we have only given. Despite this, Rupala commented about our mother's power (women). That is why we have adopted this path of movement. The former bhavnagar MP said he was attending the meeting because he is an integral part of the Rajput community and everyone will accept the decision of the coordination committee which will meet bjp leaders in ahmedabad on wednesday to find a solution.
