Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi has surprised everyone by changing its candidate from Parbhani lok sabha constituency on Thursday. Apart from this, the VBA President has also changed his candidates from Ramtek and Yavatmal-Washim.


Earlier, Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi had announced the candidature of Babasaheb Ugle from Parbhani. However, now climate scientist Punjabrao Dakh has been nominated in his place. Punjabrao Dakh filed his nomination papers as the Vanchit candidate from Parbhani on Thursday. Sanjay alias Bandu Jadhav from Mahavikas Aghadi from Parbhani and Mahadev Janak from Mahayuti are in the fray. Now it remains to be seen how much of a challenge Punjabrao Dakh will be able to pose to them in this election.


Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi has so far announced its candidature in 19 lok sabha constituencies. Three of these candidates have been replaced by Prakash Ambedkar. shankar Chahande was earlier made the candidate from Ramtek's VBA side. However, shankar Chahande, while announcing his support for independent rebel candidate kishore Gajbhiye, had said that he was withdrawing his name due to technical reasons. In the Yavatmal-Washim lok sabha constituency, Vanchit had earlier fielded Subhash Pawar. However, after this Vanchit suddenly changed his decision and decided to give a chance to the young face Abhijeet Rathod.
