Hebbalkar's son Mrinal ravindra Hebbalkar is contesting the lok sabha elections from the Belagavi seat against bjp candidate and former karnataka Chief minister Jagadish Shettar. Voting will be held in two phases for 28 lok sabha seats of Karnataka. Voting will be held here on 26th april and again on 7th May. The election results will come on june 4.

BJP had won in 2019

There is a direct contest between congress and nda in Karnataka. In the last elections, bjp had won 25 seats in Karnataka. At the same time, congress could win only one seat. Whereas, one seat went to JDS, and one seat was won by someone else.
