Will the nda win a landslide majority again this time?

In a recent interview with ABP Desam, economist parakala prabhakar took a strong swipe at the Modi government. He declared that free elections would not take place in the nation if the Modi administration returned. With uncertainty on this matter, Parakar forecast that the bharatiya janata party will be unable to surpass the 220-230 seat threshold in this election. Following this forecast, Parakar states, "The indian economy has returned to pre-independence levels under Modi's leadership. Although it had promised to boost the nation's economy, the administration has not lived up to this promise.

Absence of social cohesion

In addition, prabhakar emphasized how Modi's leadership has caused a decline in India's social cohesion and cited escalating polarization and sectarian tensions as warning signs of the nation's impending chaos.

According to Parakar, the BJP's prior triumph was fueled by its anti-corruption narrative, discontent with the UPA-2 administration, and the middle class's strong opinion of Modi. However, the party's chances of winning more than 230 seats seem low this time. He stated that the party's inability to deliver on its pledges is thought to be the primary cause of this. During this election, middle-class opinions have changed in the opposite direction. He stated, "The indian middle class is deeply dissatisfied with Modi's performance."
