Lalu's Son Tej Pratap Yadav Pushes party Worker...

Amid the ongoing lok sabha election campaigning, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Yadav’s son Tej Pratap Yadav found himself amid a raging controversy after a video of him pushing his party workers from the stage went viral. The video showed Tej Pratap Yadav and his sister Misa Bharti, who recently filed her nomination papers from the Patlipura seat, waving to the supporters during a celebratory event. The two leaders were sharing the stage with other RJD leaders, including their mother Rabri Devi when Tej Yadav, who apparently got into a scuffle with the worker and pushed him away from the stage in anger.

They were also surrounded by other RJD party workers wearing green caps, who were trying to stop Tej Pratap Yadav from engaging in the brawl. The crowd immediately took him away from the stage. However, the incident has sparked outrage on social media, with RJD opponents criticizing Tej Pratap Yadav’s behaviour, especially during the election season.

The event was organised after RJD president Lalu Prasad’s eldest daughter Misa Bharti on monday filed her nomination papers for the Patliputra lok sabha seat, which she seeks to wrest from her father’s former confidant ram Kripal Yadav, who is now in the BJP. Bharti was accompanied by Prasad, besides her mother and former bihar chief minister Rabri Devi and other senior party leaders during the filing of nomination papers. This is the third time in a row that Bharti will be trying her luck against Yadav on the seat covering rural areas of patna district.
