Haryana cabinet minister Kanwarpal Gurjar's big claim...

Haryana minister Kanwarpal gurjar said on wednesday that there is no threat to the bharatiya janata party (BJP) government in the state. He said that if the governor directs floor test, he will prove his majority in the Assembly. The bjp government had won the trust vote in march when the party replaced manohar lal khattar as the chief minister with Nayab Singh Saini. He said that generally a floor test is not required for six months after winning the trust vote. However, if the governor gives such instructions then we will prove our majority.

When Kanwarpal gurjar was asked from where the government would gather the numerical strength in the event of a floor test, he said that everything cannot be disclosed here. But what I am saying is that we will prove majority. He said that we will prove our majority with the MLAs present in the House.

Three independent MLAs supporting the bjp government in haryana supported the congress last week, reducing the saini government to minority. However, bjp leaders claim that despite the end of the BJP-JJP alliance, some members of the Jannayak Janata party (JJP) will support the government. But JJP leadership has said that they want the saini government to fall.

What else did Kanwarpal gurjar say?

On three independent MLAs withdrawing support from the government and writing a letter to the governor, Kanwarpal gurjar told reporters, "Their letter has not been accepted yet." The Agriculture and Parliamentary Affairs minister said, "I think even if they (the three MLAs) withdraw their support, there is no threat to the government." The bjp has 40 members in the current assembly and is supported by two independents and one from Haryana. The total number of members of the assembly is also supported by the sole MLA.
