
Nashik violence: Even after getting injured, policemen stood firm…
Maharashtra's minister of State for home yogesh Kadam spoke to the policemen injured in the stone pelting incident in Nashik over the phone and inquired about their health. minister of State for home yogesh Kadam praised the policemen performing their duty in adverse circumstances. While removing encroachment in Nashik city, anti-social elements pelted stones at the policemen providing security to the municipal employees. More than 31 policemen were injured in this stone pelting.
Policemen stood firm even in adverse circumstances
All the injured policemen are undergoing treatment in hospitals in Nashik city. minister of State for home yogesh Kadam spoke to these injured policemen over the phone and inquired about their health. During this, he encouraged the policemen on duty and also praised them for serving in adverse circumstances.
The minister gave these instructions to the doctors
minister Kadam also made special inquiries about the health of injured Assistant police Commissioner Nitin Jadhav and sandeep Mitke. He also discussed with the doctors present in the hospital over the phone and directed to provide necessary help to all the injured policemen immediately.
Stone pelting by miscreants late at night
It is worth noting that on the night of Tuesday, 15 April, miscreants and stone pelters threw stones at the Municipal Corporation and police who had gone to remove the illegal dargah in Nashik. In response to this, the police fired tear gas shells. Saatpir Dargah was built near Kathe Gali signal in Dwarka area.
Petition was filed by Saatpir Dargah Trust
After complaints from local citizens, on 23 February, the encroachment department of Nashik Municipal Corporation removed some encroachments from around this dargah. After this, a petition was filed in mumbai High court on behalf of Saatpir Dargah Trust. During the hearing, the court found that this dargah was unauthorized. After this, the Municipal Corporation issued a notice and instructed to remove all unauthorized constructions within 15 days.
