Former delhi Chief minister and aam aadmi party (AAP) leader Atishi recently went to Kiradi assembly and claimed development work there, but delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva rejected it outright and said that her claim is not only false but also shameful. Sachdeva launched a scathing attack on Atishi and referred to the plight of Kiradi and put the 10-year government of AAP in the dock.
Atishi went to Kiradi and said that her party has done a lot of development work there. But, Virendra Sachdeva called it a baseless talk. Sachdeva says that the situation in Kiradi for the last 10 years is such that whether it rains or not, ponds remain on the roads for 9 months. There is neither a good school, nor a college nor a proper hospital. This is the truth of AAP's development. He alleges that Arvind Kejriwal's government has completely ignored Kiradi, which is one of the largest assembly constituencies in Delhi.
Sachdeva also said that AAP's victory in Kiradi was not due to development, but due to the influence of caste and religion. He argues that like seats like Okhla, Ballimaran and Seelampur, AAP played vote bank politics in Kiradi too and did nothing for the welfare of the people there. He asked Atishi a direct question, "If your mla Rituraj Govind had done so much development in 10 years, then why did AAP have to remove him from the ticket? Answer this!"
What is the real condition of Kiradi?
If we talk about Kiradi, then this area is really facing many problems. The roads there are often troubled by waterlogging, which makes it difficult for people to move out. The lack of basic facilities like schools and hospitals has also remained a big issue for a long time. According to the local people, the common people of Kiradi have often complained about these problems. In such a situation, the people there are not able to digest Atishi's claim of development. At the same time, AAP says that they have made big changes in areas like education and health in delhi, but the situation in special areas like Kiradi is still waiting to improve.
