Bengaluru to Belagavi Vande Bharat: The much-predicted Vande Bharat express carrier between Bengaluru and Belagavi is ready to start operations soon.


This announcement was made by V. Somanna, the Union minister of Country for Railways and Jal Shakti, who showed the extension of the tech provider from Dharwad to Belagavi.


The selection follows a proper request from numerous officers, consisting of Pralhad Joshi, the minister of Client Affairs, alongside MPs jagadish Shettar and Iranna Kadadi. Somanna expressed his pleasure on social media platform X, stating, "The Vande Bharat express service between Bengaluru and Belagavi will start shortly."


The railway minister cited that the approval for this new carrier came in response to increasing passenger demand. He highlighted that the extension of the prevailing Bengaluru-Dharwad direction to Belagavi became a large breakthrough for local connectivity.


Pralhad Joshi additionally took to X to express his gratitude, thanking prime minister Narendra Modi and Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for his or her support. He noted the new tech provider as a "large increase to connectivity and development in North Karnataka."

Somanna shared a letter from Vaishnaw, confirming the plans for the brand-new Bengaluru-Belagavi carrier. The letter mentioned that the train would begin its journey from Belagavi in the morning.


Presently, the Bengaluru-Dharwad Vande Bharat Express, which was inaugurated by prime minister Modi in june 2023, connects numerous key stations, consisting of KSR Bengaluru Town Junction, Yesvantpur Junction, and Dharwad. The addition of the Belagavi route is expected to enhance travel options within the area.
