Defense minister Rajnath Singh took a dig at pakistan for taking a loan from the international Monetary Fund (IMF). He said that wherever pakistan stands, the line of beggars starts from there. India today is in the category of those countries that give funds to the IMF, so that the IMF can give loans to poor countries. The condition of pakistan has become so bad over the last several years that it is already running on the mercy of the World bank and the international Monetary Fund.

Meanwhile, after the great success of Operation Sindoor, Defense minister Rajnath Singh reached srinagar for the first time on thursday (May 15, 2025). Where he was accompanied by Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha and chief minister Omar Abdullah, who met the soldiers at Badami Bagh Cantonment and also interacted with them. The Defense minister addressed the soldiers and praised the indian army for Operation Sindoor.

Defence minister Rajnath Singh targeted pakistan and said, "Pakistan has reached such a state due to its ignorance that it can be said about it that wherever pakistan stands, a line of beggars starts from there. You must have heard how it once again went to IMF to ask for a loan while our country is on the other side. Today we come in the category of those countries which give funds to IMF so that IMF can give loans to poor countries."

'We have always given priority to peace'

Defence minister Rajnath Singh said that the whole world knows that india has always given priority to peace. He said, "We have generally never been supporters of war, but when the situation becomes so dire, when the sovereignty of the country is attackedthen it becomes necessary to respond. Our forces and our soldiers are looked upon with respect throughout the country. A strong nation gives respect to its army along with the modern weapons and equipment that it needs. I am proud that today the government is doing all this for our army."

'Terrorist organizations are not safe anywhere'

He said, "The success of Operation Sindoor has made it clear to the terrorist organizations hiding in pakistan and their masters that they should not consider themselves safe and secure anywhere. Now they are the target of indian forces. The world knows that the aim of our army is accurate, and when they aim, they leave the task of counting to the enemy. Today, how strong India's resolve against terrorism can be known from the fact that we have not even cared about their nuclear blackmail."

Defence minister Rajnath Singh stressed, "The whole world has seen how irresponsibly pakistan has issued atom bomb threats to india several times. Today, from the soil of srinagar, I want to raise this question before the whole world: Are nuclear weapons safe in the hands of such an irresponsible and sick country? I believe that Pakistan's nuclear weapons should be taken under the supervision of the IAEA, i.e., international Atomic Energy Agency."
