Pakistan's army chief General Syed Asim Munir has been promoted. Despite the crushing defeat in Operation Sindoor, he has been made a Field Marshal. This decision was taken in the federal cabinet meeting chaired by pakistan prime minister Shahbaz Sharif. In this meeting, prime minister Shahbaz Sharif gave information about the current situation of India-Pak. Asim Munir has become the second Field Marshal of pakistan after General Ayub Khan. The big difference here is that Asim Munir has been given this title with the approval of the cabinet and General ayub khan had declared himself a Field Marshal.
