deputy chief minister and ncp chief ajit pawar in the Mahayuti government has prepared to strengthen his hold in Satara, considered to be the stronghold of his uncle Sharad Pawar. ajit pawar has taken many big decisions regarding Satara.

In fact, in a high-level meeting held in the ministry on wednesday (June 11) under the chairmanship of deputy cm ajit pawar, it was decided to develop the shiva period Rajghat area located in Sangam Mahuli of Satara district. This includes the renovation of Kashivishweshwar, Sangameshwar and Rameshwar temples, conservation of the tombs of Maharani Tarabai, Yesubai and earlier Shahu Maharaj, reconstruction of the broken hanging bridge and proper development of the ghat complex.

Satara's big contribution

In this meeting, deputy chief minister ajit pawar said that the city of Satara has made a big contribution in the establishment of Swarajya and the expansion of the maratha empire. Keeping in mind the historical architecture and emotional attachment of the citizens, Rajghat and Samadhi sites should be redeveloped. Emphasis was laid on the new construction matching the old structure, using traditional architectural style and stones. Also, keeping in mind the water coming from the dam during the rainy season and the carrying capacity of the river, emphasis was also laid on environmental protection.

311 crores will be given for development

The deputy chief minister clarified that all the work should be done with the prior approval of the Green Law and the concerned departments, land should be free from dispute and the construction should be done in a timely manner, the Public Works Department should take responsibility for this. Public Works minister Shivendraraje Bhosale, Bandar Development minister Nitesh Rane were present in the meeting. ajit pawar also said that the estimated fund of Rs 311 crore will be made available in a phased manner for the redevelopment of the Rajghat area and after the completion of the work, permanent cleaning, supervision and maintenance arrangements will also be ensured.
