Before the civic elections to be held in Maharashtra, ncp (SP) President sharad pawar gave a big message to the workers. He said on monday (June 16) that the local party units will have to decide whether to contest the upcoming municipal elections including BMC alone or by forming an alliance with others.
He has given these statements at a time when there is talk of merger of ncp (SP) and Ajit Pawar-led NCP. Also, questions are being raised whether Congress, ncp (SP) and uddhav Thackeray-led shiv sena UBT will contest the BMC elections together or all three parties will contest separately. All three parties contested the assembly and lok sabha elections in alliance in the year 2024. The name of this alliance is maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). Let us tell you that in the BMC elections, BJP, shiv sena and Ajit Pawar's ncp can contest together.
local workers should decide the future decision - Sharad Pawar
During the party training camp organized in Ghatkopar area of Mumbai, sharad pawar told the workers, "Where elections are going to be held, local workers and leaders should sit together and decide what is best. If you decide to contest the elections independently, the party is with you. If you feel that there should be a discussion with others, the party will support that too."
Leadership given to Rakhi Jadhav?

According to the indian Express report, Pawar said, "Let me make it clear that we have to contest the elections in Mumbai. If you feel that we should sit with like-minded parties and reach a seat-sharing arrangement, then we are ready for that too.''
